Local School Nature Grants
What do bird boxes, bee hotels, fire boxes and nature experts all have in common?
These items, as well as others and 2 hours of training, are all available free to schools as part of the Learning through Landscapes Local School Nature Grants Programme – a Partnership Award Programme supported by Players of the People’s Postcode Lottery.
The programme is open to infant, primary, secondary, special schools and pupil referral units.
During the COVID-19 lockdown the application process hasn’t been open. LtL have been working behind the scenes approaching schools who have been previously unsuccessful and that are open to children of keyworkers and children classed as vulnerable. They have also been approaching schools with high pupil numbers, those with high pupil premium numbers, schools in deprived areas, special schools and pupil referral units. The training sessions have been happening virtually.
The application process will be open again from the end of August when we will welcome schools, old and new to apply.

Please note that the programme is entirely administered by Learning through Landscapes, and any further enquiries should be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org or 01962 392939.
